ILLUSTRATION, CONCEPT ART EMPHASIS, BFA
The BFA Degree in Illustration, Concept Art Emphasis helps students prepare a portfolio for the visual development industry and obtain entry-level work in the areas of storyboarding, backgrounds, and character design, etc. This degree requires 39 credits in Illustration and allows the student to take an additional 18 credits and electives within the emphasis. Students must officially declare the Concept Art Emphasis in order for it to be indicated on the permanent student record.
This degree consists of 123 credit hours with courses delivered in 8-week sessions in a regulated sequence to allow for the acquisition of necessary skills, the retention and transfer of knowledge and the professional discipline necessary for entry-level
