EN 1111 - Composition II

Credits: 3

Composition II emphasizes critical thinking, reading, and writing skills by engaging students in all aspects of the writing process. At the conclusion of the course, students will have encountered a variety of academic texts; participated in critical discourses regarding the content, meaning, and function of these texts; and have developed their thinking through written responses to the readings. Students will also have been formally introduced to academic research and are expected to complete a formal research paper by the end of the semester.

Prerequisites: EN 1110 - Composition I
